When I went out for a short, chilly walk at lunch today, I spotted a nutcracker on the sidewalk. He looked almost as cold as I felt.
Do you grit your teeth when you’re out in very cold weather? I sometimes do… and so does he.

I *do* find I grit my teeth! And often bend/huddle over a bit, and squint my eyes. The funny thing is that if I try to lift my head, take a big breath, and open my eyes despite the cold, that same cold or wind doesn’t seem quite as cold. Weird.
