Day 11: Fresh winter green

During the holidays, you can’t have too much greenery!

everything looks better on concrete

Today, at a food photography workshop at the lovely Spring Hill in West Seattle, we made photos of this beautifully stacked butter lettuce with radishes, parmesan and citrus dressing. After the shooting, we ate it. And I found myself wishing, as I picked up the soft greens with my fingers, that someone would bring me this salad every day during the holidays. Tender and tangy, it seems the perfect antidote for holiday excess.

More of my photos from today’s workshop with fabulous Texan food photographer Penny de los Santos are here.

Wow, that looks good. I’m hungry for greens. And your photo is mouthwatering.
