Eight hours ago, the snow began falling again. Tiny, dry flakes, and lots of them. Now that it’s dark out — as dark as a snowy night in the city ever gets — it’s hard to know what you’re seeing when you look out the window. Is it snow or is it fog? Open a window, though, to grab a photo of the pale night, and a gust of wind will bring you the answer: still snowing.
Close the window! Go to sleep! The snow will be there in the morning.
