Laurie: Thanks! I enjoyed taking the ingredients photo. And I'd happily walk to Kingfish in the snow.

ggp: Yum indeed... but I'll be happy when the snow's all gone.

Janeen: You know I'll bake them whenever you visit, if only for your reaction!

Dad: I'll make them for you when I'm next there.

kat: I use <a href="http://orangette.blogspot.com/2005/02/9-am-sunday-butter-and-babies.html" rel="nofollow">Molly's recipe from Orangette</a>. From my experience, room temp. eggs and milk/cream make for puffier babies.

Mmm. We call them "fat babies" in our household, for reasons I don't recall, but mine never end up quite so puffy. Care to share the recipe?

The pancakes look delicious, but I absolutely love the ingredient photos. Just a beautiful combination of shapes and colors.

We live on the top of Capitol Hill. During snowy weather it is especially great to be in a walkable neighborhood. Yesterday Matthew and I went out for a great lunch at Kingfish Cafe.
