It’s time again to observe Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day. Actually, COYRDay was either yesterday or Friday, depending on whom you ask, but better a late observance than no observance at all.
Yesterday (when I thought about starting this project, and then decided to go out for a walk in the sunshine instead), the refrigerator was not especially overcrowded, but it was definitely a mess:
This afternoon, after much unloading and dismantling and triage and discarding and scrubbing and drying and reassembling and rearranging…
Voila!
See those two empty shelves? That space is reserved for the turkey that we’re picking up next weekend. And there’s much more room available now for other food we’ll be buying for Thanksgiving, and after the fact, for leftovers. Mmmmm… leftovers.

You are hereby invited to my house to work your magic on my fridge, which is much messier than yours was, and doesn’t have nearly all the cool features. You need more of a challenge, I think.
