How can it have been three weeks since I posted anything? Time to do something about that, but I don’t have it in me to do any writing tonight. So here, as an easy way for me to get back into this blogging thing, are the last three weeks of this year’s CSA.
Week 18: Two weeks ago, our box was packed with:
- Bunch of kale
- Head of red butter lettuce
- Sweet peppers
- Zucchini
- Eggplant
- Delicata squash
- Broccoli
- Red potatoes
- Fennel
- Red cabbage
Week 19: Last week’s box was filled with:
- Mixed fall salad greens
- Bunch of carrots
- Bunch of baby white turnips with greens
- Small head of celery
- Delicata squash
- Bunch of rainbow chard
- Blue potatoes
- Cucumber
- Cilantro
- Jalapeno peppers (not shown)
Week 20: Today’s box — the last of this year’s CSA — was filled with:
- Mixed fall salad greens
- One huge leek
- A fennel bulb
- A bunch of kale
- Couple of parsnips
- White potatoes
- Pie pumpkin
- and a Zucchini bat
