Did I mention, at any time during June or July, that I intended to post every day during those two months? No? I guess it slipped my mind. Not really, but it didn’t seem terribly important to me to write about it… and I might not be doing so now, except that I don’t have much to say tonight, and I need to write something here to close out July.
Did you notice that I’ve posted daily for two months? (On the evening a couple of weeks ago when our web host was offline for a few hours, I posted on flickr.) Although I don’t intend to keep posting here every day — not until December’s Holidailies, anyway — I hope I’ve gotten back in the habit enough that I won’t drift back to posting only 4 times in a month.

It’s been a pleasure.
I’ve enjoyed your market reports and seeing your CSA each week. Last week we were in Portland, and on Saturday we met my brother and his family at the farmers market so we could all shop and they could pick up their CSA box. I enjoyed inspecting it; my favorite part was the note that said, “Take two tomatoes and one box of blueberries,” to go with each box.
Your excellent photographs of cats…and food…would be enough, but then you throw in your most excellent recipes. Makes me want to jump right on an airplane with a couple of empty shopping bags and a travel coffee mug.
Hell, you even make onions look sexy.
