this morning, the market smelled like berries

Two good things for the first day of summer: Finally, local strawberries are ripe! And rhubarb is still in season. There will be cobbler… (and I guess that’s three good things.)

    On the menu for tomorrow night round here. TH stopped at Pearl Street Bakery on her way to Berkeley this week and brought me the most beautiful rhubarb hand pie.
