What a beautiful post and I am so looking forward to my first visit to Seattle in Aug to sample some of those beautiful foods. My sisters and I are having a reunion in Alki where my younger sister moved several years ago. She lived in Houston for 20 yrs and feels like she is in heaven now!
I’ve been reading your blog for years and really enjoy it, especially the cats and architecture. Hope you enjoyed being in Boston in May. My company was represented there….we are a high end design/build firm on outer Cape Cod.
We have to wait awhile for our tiny Farmers’ Mkt but it is well-worth it and we eat locally as often as possible.
    Thank you!

Jaspenelle: Hope you’re enjoyed your first farmers market of the season!

Marcia: Thank you for reading, and for commenting! I hope you’ll have a lovely visit here in August; it should be summer by then! We had a wonderful time in Boston. I haven’t been on the Cape since I lived in Boston almost 25 years ago, but I imagine it’s still as lovely now as then.

DKM: No, the morels will go with the asparagus, though they would be great in farro, too!
