I love the photos of "Queen Ann" and the smiling diversity of faces. But I have never heard of apriums. I assume they are a mixture of apricot and plum but more apricot and less plum as opposed to plucots which are more plum and less apricot.
I envy you your wealth of summer fruits and vegetables. Our farmers market today had lots of blueberries, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, etc. But by the time I arrived at 9:30 it was 87 degrees. So no leisurely browsing for me.
Oh yes we also have locally caught gulf shrimp but no salmon. I'm eagerly awaiting northwest salmon eaten where it is caught.
Love you,

You are too modest, Kimberly. You didn't mention that you helped bring this market to Queen Anne and were generously giving your time and talents again yesterday at the Association booth. Thank you for sharing these great photos. The apriums were delicious, I had to go buy a pound, even though the red tent over them at Tiny's Organic made them all look a bit riper than they actually are.

Apriums. Saw the trees at the nursery while shopping for an apricot. Haven't eaten any yet. Good?

I'm soooo jealous about those rainiers. I am on my second 18lb box of bings of the year. But the white/pinks I've gotten so far aren't rainers. Maybe this week... Maybe next.
