As Seattle continues to have unseasonably sunny weather, the McKittens have enjoyed more than the usual quotient of sleeping in the sun. While sunshine provides Miss Lyra with a silver lining (a bit of which is visible at the top of this photo), it paints tawny Sasha with a golden glow.
Rain or shine, you’ll find lots of animals boarding the Friday Ark.

Lately, one of my cats has taken to napping directly on one of our heating vents. Smart cat, huh? Where did all our sunshine go?
That is a fabulous picture of the kitties
My oldest old lady, Miss Clover, is not feeling well. Her age has begun to show significantly in just the last three months. She gets to sleep with me and has taken quite the shine to the electric blanket. Never knew such a small cat could take up sooooo much of a queen sized bed.
She would love to snuggle in this warm sunshine!
