Usually, Sergei doesn’t like to look into the camera. But for some reason, on New Year’s afternoon, he got up from his nap (he was at the end of the kitty pile in the background), walked almost to the edge of the bed, sat down, and stared up at me intently… just long enough for me to snap this shot.

His stare is so intense, I wonder what his kitty brain was thinking… I hope my cats eventually look into the camera…

I think he’s become so used to being photographed that he assumes a pose.

Sergei… what a beautiful boy! I always marvel at his wiskers, they are so pronounce. But I didn’t realize he only had one eyebrow

You really are my favorite cat photographer, the catness of the subjects always comes through so clearly, if that makes any sense. You do have unusually attractive puddies; however, so do I – and you would never know it! I was given a new camera for Christmas, which seems to be just right for me, and have also got myself a new computer with more bells and whistles photograph-wise- so I’m going to make an effort towards improved cat images in 2008.
