Tonight, right on schedule, old Sol reached the end of the line. Standing at the Tropic of Capricorn, he paused, still looking south, as if thinking he might go on. The world held its breath. Maybe this time… Then Sol turned, and slowly, ever so slowly, began the long trek north.
