Tonight I went to a party at which I knew almost no one. Perhaps I’ll write sometime about what it’s like for an introvert (why yes, I am one) to attend a party at which she doesn’t know anyone. For tonight, though, just the facts. I was intrigued by the upside-down Christmas tree. (I hear they’ve been the hot thing for a couple of years now; where have I been?) I drank a couple of glasses of a lovely local Malbec, sampled a few delightful desserts from Alice Medrich’s new cookbook.
When I got home, Paul rubbed my feet while we watched TV. That was my favorite part of the whole evening.

No photos from tonight, so instead, a virtual folded-and-cut snowflake. I posted one of these last year, but you can never have too many snowflakes. This is probably my favorite that I’ve made. You can make your own here.

Thank you for the comment about Wordpress…I’m thinking about changing platforms over the holidays.
And can I say that any man that rubs your feet is a good man. He’s a keeper.
I’m glad you were able to go. Matthew brought me some delectable crunchy shortbread from the party.
