It does not matter that the prickly awns on the stalks cause this cat to make horrible gakking, choking sounds after chewing on them. Mrerr… mrerr… prrowrrr.
This cat is more polite than some bunnies, but no less insistent. Mrerr… mrerr… mrerr… …mrerr, mrowrrrrr.
What will happen next? Will you:
(a) ignore this cat’s request, no matter how long and piteous his begging.
(b) throw out the stalks of wheat, just to get this cat to shut up.
(c) using your kitchen shears, carefully clip the awns from a stalk of wheat before handing it over to this cat.
