Feline Friday: Up a tree

6213-sasha's tree

Sasha’s favorite place to hang is the top tier of the cat tree in our living room. The best part of its round upper deck is the off-center hole in its bottom. Not only does it provide an easy way up, it’s a good place to poke your head down to see what’s happening with the cat toys on the floor. Drop a paw through, drape another over the side, rest your head on the edge, and you’re in the perfect position for watching the world go by.

All the cool cats will be hanging around the Friday Ark, and at Scamperdude’s Weekend Cat Blogging.

What does Sasha see from his tree?

Sasha looks like a king surveying his kingdom…he even has a little beard, reminds me of the Lion King from Disney’s Robin Hood!

How handsome Sasha is. He doesn’t try to jump out the windows?
The house my brother bought has a two story vaulted ceiling over the living room. On the same level as the upper loft there is a ledge or shelf all the way around that is about 18 inches wide… I know what is going to happen when we mover the cats. They will make a run for the stairs as that was one of their favorite pastimes in Mississippi. Then they will see that shelf and how great the view from there and will be walking around it in ten minutes. The ragdolls will try and fail to do so. My plan is to try and place the soft furniture under the shelf for emergency safety nets and hope they learn quickly!
