Recently, a friend gave us a small armchair that she no longer wanted. While it is just the right size for a short woman (me), it appears that it is also the right size for a pair of cats. The two larger McKittens fit quite nicely; I’ve seen them snuggled up together in the new chair several times this week. Sergei rarely bathes anyone other than himself, but a couple of days ago he gave Sasha a good ear washing — followed by a nice long nap.
Someday I’ll get to sit in that chair. I’m sure of it.

You have the most gorgeous cats…and your photographs of them set a very high standard!
That looks so cozy! Of course, Sergei and Sasha have to claim the new chair. It’s part of our feline domestic responsibility.
I have a chair like that, too. And it’s the only piece of furniture that the boys will curl up together on. Everything else seems to be marked territorially as “Mine” and “Yours.”

Rhett has developed the habit of hanging around the kitchen at dinner time. When there are only three of us here he occupies the fourth chair. Otherwise he has to languish on the floor. Of course any time anyone gets up even for a second, he is in that chair. Someday someone is not going to see him and he will be squished flatter than a flitter!

I always wish I could get my guys in a photo like that but my camera is never at the ready at such a moment. Very sweet, they definitely look like they enjoy a cushy life! : )
