It might sound funny (but keeping in mind I was raised very much the city girl) I bought some organic eggs at my local store the other day and they were brown! I couldn’t believe it, brown eggs, wow! I was impressed. Felt a little ditzy when I found out that was common knowledge though….
I love those blue and green eggs. Aracunas? They are such cool hens, too. I wish I could find their eggs around here. I think it very mean that city dwellers are not permitted to keep a chicken or two. Though I suppose my cats would object, or worse…Maybe a goat? Guess not.

I agree, but my dearies aren’t buying it. ;~)

I have friends who raise chickens in the Massachusetts countryside, and I love when they get green eggs.
