Camellia's were in full bloom, redbuds and even some of the dogwood. Across the street three daffodils glowed yellow, although the crocus had better sense. Then the deep freeze hit, snow for fifteen minutes on Thursday and again last night. It looks as if th redbuds fared the worst, dropping all their petals. I love the fragrance of hyacinth. "If of thy mortal good thou art bereft And of thy slender store two loaves alone to thee are left, Sell one, and with the dole Buy hyacinths to feed thy soul."
