It may look like Sasha was posing. But no, he was just hanging out at the mouth of the crinkly striped tunnel, a Christmas present from his Auntie Lynne. I got down flat on my belly on the floor, my camera with zoom lens mounted atop this little critter, and snapped off a few shots. With no flash to bother his eyes, Sasha was content to sit quietly and watch while I rolled around on the floor. The things I will do to get photos of the McKittens…
Belly up to the ark… the Friday Ark, that is. Get a belly full - and I mean that in the best possible way - of Weekend Cat Blogging at What Did You Eat? There should be plenty of furry kitty belly on display at the Carnival of the Cats on Sunday.

Kimberly, where did you buy the table tripod? It’s something that looks like it will be really useful… oh, and the photograh is absolutely gorgeous. I love the lighting.
Sophie and McCloud have this same tunnel-it’s a favorite place to play, nap and hide. Sasha looks quite content watching you take photos!
Where did you get the tunnel. It looks like it is really long. Ours have had a short one for sometime but now they ignore it. I think it is too short.
Sasha looks quite amused…. your rolling must be very entertaining!
D: My husband ordered the tripod online. It’s really cool; I’ll write a post about it this weekend.
Vicki: It surprises me that all three of the cats like the tunnel, and are sometimes willing to share.
Roxanne: You can get this tunnel here. It looks long because we have two of them tied together. Apparently there’s also a special Y-shaped connector to link three of them; we haven’t gotten that yet, but I think it’s only a matter of time.
Wow! Cool photo! Hugs from the Houston tropics (though not for long).
Ha! He looks so serious and contemplative…especially considering he’s hanging out in a multicolored play tunnel.
What a gorgeous photograph (not to mention the gorgeous cat)!
Wow. -ls
That’s a fantastic picture!
My cats got one of these tunnels for Christmas and they LOVE it!
Great pix! So precious!
I love that picture of Sasha - the way the tunnel forms these illuminated rings reminiscent of concentric haloes. And that expression is…so expressive. Expressly!
