narcissus

This narcissus blooming in my parents’ front yard was the only white we had for Christmas. No forcing needed for paperwhites in this part of the world; they come up of their own accord in December. Today is sunny and bright, and we’re going out to play.

Nicely done, the whole advent series! Make sure to have a tipple to celebrate!

What lovely flowers… we still have dandelions but not much else.
On Sunday morning there was a tiny bit of frost before the temperature climbed into the 60′s and one little dandelion head white with seeds had a strange look of ice on the fluffy fronds. I didn’t have my camera… (snif)

Gorgeous photo. We don’t have snow OR narcissus….
The advent series was a great idea and an interesting read.
