Are the treats really there to really eat? Nyssa has one with little puffy characters having velcro backs. The last one is the Baby Jesus in a manger. All together it forms the Nativity. I showed it to her on Thursday and told her we would open it after I got home from work on Friday. When I opened the door Friday afternoon she came running down the hall shouting, "Now we can open 1!" I was one of six children, so I got to open a door every sixth night--oh, did we ever keep track of whose turn it was. Yesterday Iris opened the first door on her first advent calendar (she’s almost three, just old enough).
