My parents arrived from Houston today. They’re asleep now in my office, also known as the guest room. My computer is also in my office. (Remember that; it becomes important later on.)
I finished my first loaf of no-knead bread tonight. I took photos of much of the process, and the final result. As I don’t have it in me to write a full (mostly glowing) post about this bread tonight, I thought I’d post some photos. However, my camera refuses to download its images onto Paul’s laptop, on which I’m writing this post. (Did you remember that my computer, with its functional image download software, is in my office with my sleeping parents?) I’m having a flashback to shooting with film. I’ve become quite accustomed to the instant gratification of digital photography.
It’s now almost midnight, and I have to post this, so as not to blow my NaBloPoMo posting streak. And so, good night.

Ah, yes…. the digital camera withdrawal syndrome.
Glad to hear your parents made the trip safely.
I’m sure your home will abound with delectable smells and fabulous flavor tomorrow. OK, actually….. today! Happy Thanksgiving!
