Kimberly,

I'd love to come for dinner. Mind sending out the Lear Jet?

It is splendiforous, Kimberly. I love it. The light fixtures are great-love the little bit of red. The tile looks so cool; it is all good. Good, good, good.

Now that is a squeal-worthy kitchen if ever there were one. It looks beautiful--can't wait to see the photos of your first meal and of the kitchen once everything is in place. I'll bet the McKittens have overcome the noise and are probably gazing in awe at the new fridge.

Kimberly,

Congratulations! it looks great! The tile work shown in yesterdays post is very well done. You and Paul should be proud of yourselves for learning a craft of this difficulty. We look forward to seeing the finished product in about three weeks.

Thanks, D, I hope you will, too.

Bill, that's a radiator in the little alcove under the counter. One of the reasons we bought our house is that it still has the original radiators (though we have replaced the boiler with a modern, high efficiency model). The kitchen may have had a radiator at some point, but if so, it was removed in a previous remodel. This modern German radiator should keep our little breakfast nook toasty warm on cold mornings. (We've had a couple of 32 degree nights already this fall.)
