Over time you'll see the defects less and less. Although your tile job is in a more public part of your house (compared to our master bathroom), you had smaller tiles, less overall space to cover, and plain white grout. I predict that you'll be very happy with your lovely new kitchen, and that visitors will only notice flaws that you yourselves point out.
