Archie and Sid have a large collection of stuffed and rubber mice, 90% of which are stored under rugs and in closets at any given time. They can then be re-discovered when things get boring, hunted down, cornered, tossed around, partially unstuffed and rehidden.
I have always wondered how it was that Sid understood Archie’s long standing mouse rotation system so quickly when she joined the household. Did he explain it carefully, or did she already know the drill?

I’m going to make Sophie study this very carefully. She admires Sergei but she hasn’t made the switch to indoor “creatures” yet- she still has her eye on the outside world. Maybe she’ll model Sergei’s indoor stalking…
