What is the fascination that little boys have with sticking out their tongues? It seems that every other photo that I snap of Max or Reed features a protruding tongue, accompanied by some sort of grimace or funny face. It’s not that they wander around with their tongues hanging out (as Lyra sometimes does); rather they extend them only when someone points a camera in their direction.
Yesterday, one of the giraffes at the Seattle Zoo showed us that his long purplish tongue can almost reach his eye. Don’t go thinking that the boys picked up this habit from the giraffe, though; they were already old pros at this game.

Too cute!
We have all girls, your boys are adorable!
We visited the zoo on our last trip to Seattle. We love zoos and this one was very nice.
Cute! My oldest has always posed for the camera. My youngest always looks down. I recently told her that the flash on the camera is tinkerbell and now I get a lot of wide-eyed, serious shots.
