When Sasha want petting, he often rubs up against something near me: the arm of the sofa, or the leg of the coffee table. As I stood outside with my camera, he rubbed against the window mullion. I was close enought to reach out and pet him, save for that pesky glass.

Maybe he is trying to tell those other felines that this is HIS window to watch HIS mom from. Rhett tends to do this too. He gets on a cat carrier so he can reach the screen of the open sunporch window and then he cries and cries until I talk to him. Max, the dog, just grins.
