Gorgeous!

I've had the luxury of sleeping in this week and DST has made it easier to do, since the sun isn't beaming in my window at 6:15 anymore. Next week it's back to the real world, putting the boy on the school bus prior to the crack of dawn.

One thing I don't like about DST is that it's dark in the morning when I leave for work (at 6am), after it just started being light then! (It's always light when I come home at 3pm, even in winteriest winter.) Ah well, it will be light in the morning again soon.

I like the extra light, but hate losing that hour on the first night. For the animals it is easier to adjust than in the fall. Max and his tummy seem to know when 5 o'clock comes so for a while he barks longer in the fall and is pleased and surprised by an early (or so he thinks) supper in the spring.

I *love* this time of year. All my night blind brethren do...We don't have to be home by 4:30!

I suppose I have the luxury right now of creating my own schedule; maybe I would feel differently if I couldn't walk outside and smell the springtime whenever I wanted.

Ah, yes. Light is good. I'm still having a hard time getting up in the morning, though.
