I know 40,000 is a small milestone compared to the huge number of visitors to some blogs, but it’s the milestone that I have coming up… thanks to the Carnival of the Cats, probably sometime today. Visitor #40,000, or the soonest thereafter to get a screen shot of my site meter, will receive a jar of the homemade preserves of your choice.

How’d I do with my “congrats? over at Scrine. I actually got 40,003 when I signed on, but by the time I copied the image it showed 40,005.
Congratulations! I can understand why this site receives so many hits. The Poor Pitiful Human Female (Mummy) greatly admires it. She is a former Seattle person, trying to write a novel. I am her cat.
