My cat Jack is definitely a heat seeker cat.
I have no radiators for him to drape himself over, but whenever I have a basket of fresh-dried laundry... Jack is right in there. Like a shot.
I have to be very vigilant, if I turn my back for a second, there he is again, losing traces of hair in my freshly washed stuff. He just loves it.
To cure him I am thinking of putting him IN the dryer once.
Just kidding....
Beautiful pics of cats on your blog.

Sadly, I've never lived in a house with an old-style radiator. Charlie, my Siamese growing up, liked to lay on the top of the stove.

I'm always amazed that my cats spend most of the winter, which is mild here, safely curled up inside. In the summer, when it's blazing hot & humid, they just lay like dead things out in their kennel all day long.

I know they're descended from desert animals.

I often watch Simba seek out the sunbeams in the late afternoon.

our radiator gets really hot, so don't think our kittys would sit up there.
they do like the cold, they love to sit by the open window.

Cozy cats!

Regarding your fascinating penultimate post:

Call me a snob, but should the misrepresentation of Hendrix's music be compared with the adulteration of Wright's architecture?

We live near Jimi's gravesite and even have a rubbing of the quitar from his tombstone. But, you should also visit Issaquah to see one of Wright's Usonian homes - the Ray Brandes house. I know of a good place for a cuppa joe and a sandwich, too! Wireless!! ;~)

Well, because I like you so much I shall pretend that I believe you that the towels are placed on the rads simply to complete drying. Of course, if I were not pretending I would simply believe that the towels are there FOR the cats.

Not pretending: the are great photos.

Kimberly, you are such a kind cat person- you pad all your radiators! We have vents and Sophie and McCloud vie for the best one in my office- but it's officially Sophie's. She has it when she wants it- which is most all the time in winter.
