Double tall latte from Caffe Zingaro
What ails me today?
- I have to go to work on the holiday for Martin Luther King’s birthday.
- Yesterday’s sunshine is gone; there’s 100% chance of rain here today.
- Because Seattle had no measurable rain yesterday, the rainy streak topped out at 27 days, rather than matching or breaking the record 33 days. How disappointing!
Yes, a smooth, creamy latte topped with pretty latte art is good for all of these things. What ails you today? Would a really good cup of coffee help?

Yummy! If anything was ailin’ me, that cup o’ java would hit the spot!
Maybe add a big scoop of Italian raspberry sorbet and it would be sure to chase the blues away.
Nyssa goes back to college tomorrow. Sad but not, it is only about an hour drive and with cell phones I don’t feel too far away. She is excited and I’m glad for that.
You have beautiful photos!
Yes please.
me too!
A cup of coffee like that could only help… Hope the rest of the week is looking up.
I could sure go for a cup of that about now!

Gorgeous picture of a coffee. And all the pics of flowers and such on your page. Gorgeous header. Such rich colors and simple effective compositions!
Been ages and a template since I’ve been. Came via’s Michele’s too. Have to make a point of coming round more often again.
Gosh I think I’m going to pop out for one right now…
Someone blogged that Illy coffee is really, really good. Have you (or anyone reading the comments thread) tried this brand…?

It is 8:00 pm in Charleston,SC. on Jan. 18. The weather here is gorgeous, although quite windy.(hey, June thru November are brutally hot…so, I have to enjoy this while I can!) The photo of the latte is BEAUTIFUL! Being an artist and a lover of coffee, I found it inspiring! I did a little, quick, watercolour of it! Thank you! Newbie—Pam Aries
Only if I could share it with a friend…Saturday looks good…you choose one of your favorite coffee haunts, Kimberly! I’m so looking forward to meeting you!!
My friend, Susannah, was over today and inspired me to pulling some of my old paintings out of the closet. With her coaxing, the photo of the Afghan woman is now hanging in the living room. I tell you this because this photo will be calling to me when I finally get back in the studio. Wouldn’t a painting of this look lovely, not to mention motivating, in our kitchen?
