Oh. My. Word! LOL!

I love it when they get all saucer-eyed. Too adorable! (What was she getting ready to attack?)

It’s funny that in even moderate light when Scarlett’s pupils are medium to small, they dilate if she gets scared (most of the time she scares herself) or if she chases her tail (I don’t think she has figured out that it is really hers and not some alien creature). Sometimes the pupil is so round… Did she get caught doing something she wasn’t supposed to be doing?

Boo does the same thing when she is frightened by something, or simply the unknown will cause her to have eyes as big as saucers. Cats do not like surprises!

Cat portraiture at its very finest! Gorgeous.

She is indeed beautiful, AND regal. But who will be Menelaos and who will be Paris? Sergei, gorgeous as he is, is more like the crafty Ulysses, with a touch of Achilles. (S. the sworn enemy of penguins and weasels.) Sasha…?

Carnival of Cats #90 is up at Quite Early One Morning, featuring some of my favorites, including Mind of Mog, Melange, I-Pets, Caturday, StrangeRanger, and Music & Cats. Of course, I like my entry: Dogs vs Cats at Bloggin’ Outloud. Great pic, btw. Could launch em! lgp
