Feline Friday: No Christmas tree for Sasha

December 16th, 2005 by Kimberly

Poor Sasha McKitten. He would love to have a Christmas tree! Evergreens smell wonderful, almost as good as catnip. Other cats get to have Christmas trees. Why will Sasha’s people not buy him and his McKitten siblings a Christmas tree?

The people in the McKitten household know what happens when Sasha sees green…

See if the animals have been naughty or nice at the Friday Ark. And, while the McKittens may not be getting a Christmas tree, they’ve been so nice that they get to host the Carnival of the Cats here on Sunday!

Maybe he turns into the “Incredible Hulk” because he is scared of Santa. Some cats are scared of Santa, some just don’t care. Ours like to take turns under the tree with the dangling soft ornaments on their level and the breakable ones higher up.

I would like to donate to the Buy Sasha a Tree fund. Every cat should have a Christmas Tree to explore . . .

Sasha is beautiful. Those eyes! Our Beauregard and Oreo have to make due with a fake tree ever since the unfortunate broken tibia incident a few years back for their owner!

I can well understand why you don’t have a tree–we haven’t had one in years because of the challenge it would pose for our resident pets.
