Miss Lyra Lou Silverfur McKitten has been shortchanged in recent Feline Fridays. Despite her increasingly long and silly name, she is a beautiful cat, and she knows how to sit for a portrait.
The Friday Ark turns 60 (weeks) today. The Carnival of the Cats will be at Curiouser & Curiouser on Sunday.

Lyra looks so much like a younger version of my Earnest.
Some cats just know how to pose. She is beautiful.
What kind of camera did you get again? My brother was asking for ideas for Christmas.
Stunning photo!
Wow - Ms McKitten sits so well for portraits!
I wish my darlings would be as good - but they’re too busy chasing everything (including each other) to sit pretty.
You put other cat bloggers to shame!
What a beautiful Kitty!!
Fabulous! She has that “Mona Lisa” mystique in her expression. She also has an Elizabeth Taylor “Cleopatra” presence. All you need now are two male cats (Richard Burton and Rex Harrison) kneeling behind her to complete that famous movie poster scene.
