Feline Friday: Morning already?

November 18th, 2005 by Kimberly

I know that look! Sasha hasn’t had his coffee yet. Sergei is still fast asleep, one white paw slipping through the slats in the footboard.

My brother also tends to have that look when he hasn’t had his coffee. This morning Sergei and I could have curled up in bed together, it is cold here in Virginia Beach. Time to put on the winter blanket. Hey! Where is Lyra while all this is going on?

That photograph is stunning. Sasha has that indefinable expression on his face that says, “Ha. I’m a cat…and you’re not. Tough luck for you, bub.”

Sasha has some Maine Coon in him? Such handsome jowly fur! You and Roxanne are lucky to have curl-up cats; my two sleep near but not with each other. The first five years they didn’t live together- maybe that makes a difference.

Just found your blog tonight…really enjoying it! Love your cats, especially Sasha. Is it a Maine Coon? Sasha looks identical to my Calais, who’s now in kitty heaven, and was a Maine Coon. I now have Marcel, champagne color and 6 yr. old. Recently lost our 13 1/2 yr. old Angus, but our home is now filled with 2 brother kittens…totally black and identical.
Love your blog and will return often.
