Sasha is one of the most relaxed cats I know. Never mind that he startles easily, and rarely comes out from under our bed when we have company. When I pick Sasha up, he becomes seemingly boneless; he’s a soft, warm, rumbling stuffed animal who occasionally chews on my thumb as I cradle him in my arms. And now I know why he is so calm and limber: he has been practicing yoga. I recently watched him move slowly through a series of poses, several of which I captured on film. Note the full extensions of the limbs, the focus evident on the face, the big fluffy paws. (The paws have nothing to do with yoga, but they’re just so cute.)
Cats, dogs, birds and other critters play nicely together at the Friday Ark. Carnival of the Cats #73 is up at the Mind of Mog.

Sasha’s personality (and fluffiness) sounds exactly like that of my old cat who I just realized died at age 19 a year ago tomorrow.
How cute! My little dog, Gordy, is seen lounging just like that quite often – makes me wish I were that relaxed.
omg~ she looks like my kitty tia! My day is happier now, just with seeing her cuddly stretch
Here via Micheles~ Have a great weekend!
LOL! He’s beautiful!!! And, now I’m thinking that I’d like to find a sunny spot to take a nap in.
Great job at Michele’s today!
Ooooooooh. I have 3 boneless much loved (and highly alergy inducing) cats. So. oooooooh. And thank you so much for visiting my site.
One of my favorite things about blog surfing is looking at other blogger’s favorites. And I just saw you linked to me. Thank you so much. Now I’m going to look at the rest of your links (and I’ll be back)
too cute! Happy Saturday from Michele’s meet and greet!
He looks so content! And makes me want to reach through my monitor and tickle and smush him!
Sasha looks so happy. Kinda reminds me of Edloe rolling around in my wife’s chair… right before my wife demanding her spot back.
