I had a Siamese once who would let kids pick her up and carry her around the place, dangling. She let three year olds hug and squeeze her and never a hiss or bite. Lyra looks like she is very aware of what is going on and would be quick to find an out-of-reach place away from probing little fingers if need be.

Love that pic! Of course a black kitty’s fave spot will be on something white–my cat cleverly manages to shed her white fur on my black pants and black fur on my white sweater. They’re so smart!
