Let me elaborate: It’s too beautiful a day in Seattle for me to spend more than a few moments here at the computer writing. There’s a Farmer’s Market to enjoy, shrubs to prune, cherries to pit (while enjoying a cold drink on the front porch), and so much more. I’ll be back after dark. In the meantime, here’s one of the spots of beauty from today – a passion flower growing over the fence from our neighbors’ back yard. (Thank you, neighbors!) And I’ll leave you with just a few words to hint at some of the things that are on my mind: Vespas, architecture of fear, summer camp, making up songs.
Too beautiful for words

oh…i miss seattle! i lived there for a year and loved it so much!!
here from michele’s m&g.
Passion flowers are so beautiful and so different – sometimes they look “otherworldly” – you could almost believe aliens planted them.
That flower may be too beautiful for words, but its also quite deadly. What you have there is a passion flower, and extracts from that can be used to make a cyanide-like poison… so dont eat it! haha.
I am a seattlite who is currently looking out their dormroom at the spaceneedle, and loving it.
